Silver Dollar City, dated back to the 1800's, has been awarded the top Theme Park in the world for 1998-1999 for a reason.  As you stroll the streets of the "City," meet the masters . . . the glassblower, the basket weaver, the potter, the blacksmith, the knifemaker, the quilter, and the many others that come together to make this The Home of American Craftmanship.

At Silver Dollar City you will enjoy toe-tapping entertainment, goosebumbs-guaranteed rides, luscious food and pure, handmade crafts, and good honest fun.  This is a park certainly dedicated to everyone!  See the craftmakers make their knives, quilt their quilts, paint their masterpieces, and turn their pottery.  And then, just when you think you have seen it all, you will round the corner to find the candy makers, the blacksmiths, the woodcarvers, the basket weavers, the glass cutters, and so much more!

And here is the good news, after you pay to get in, It doesn't cost you to do anything unless you want to get refreshments, or take a souvenir home.  That's Right, even the more than 50 Shows throughout the day that are at Silver Dollar City are FREE after you pay the parks admission.
